About Alex Bobeda and the Muchmoji Studio = Illustration + Design + Content
Alex Bobeda is a digital designer and visual artist which has worked on communications and educational projects for companies such as Petrobras, Ambev, TIM, and Vale, before embracing the freelance path and also entering the editorial and entertainment world, what led him to create the Muchmoji Studio.
His professional career began in 1997, when he gained a BA in Language and Communications from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), which, in some degree, has led him to write 3 books. At the same time, Alex was teaching himself about the design principles and was also developing his sense of visual composition, designing interfaces and contents for e-learning courses. At first, with a layout and typographical style that, since then, has been evolved into graphics and illustrations. In the early 2000’s, he finished an Art Direction/Graphic Design degree in his hometown and, lately, in Visual Language and Typography, at School of Visual Arts, New York.
Today, his creations are always inspired by movies from the ’80’s and the ’90’s, cartoons and pop culture references overall, in projects for himself and clients, helping brands tell their stories through design and illustration.
Alex currently lives in the city where he was born — the sunny Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
